DonateThe Linda and Rudy Slucker NCJW Center for Women is a nonsectarian project of The National Council of Jewish Women, Essex County Section that was established in 1981 to provide services to all women experiencing life-altering challenges. Services are provided on a sliding scale and fees are waived for those unable to pay. The range of services provided by the NCJW Center for Women includes:
Women come to us with varied backgrounds and skill sets. While some come to their first appointment with a relatively current resume and some direction, others are confused and anxious about how to begin marketing themselves in today's environment. Our clients are often in a crisis situation that is forcing them to re-enter the workforce, while others are preparing themselves to return to work; expecting that their spouse will be downsized from their position. A few are collecting unemployment and trying to "repackage" themselves for a new career that has more job opportunities. Your donation helps support many of the above services as well as provide funds needed for emergency client assistance. When funds are available we provide emergency funding to help clients with food and gas money, rent support etc. CLICK HERE to make a donation. |
